WORKWEAR FABRIC

What is a workwear?

They are garments that determine the comfort, safety and working areas of those working in the fields of service, industry and industry, contain fabric or are made entirely of fabric. Workwear fabric refers to the visual integrity of the business in which it is used, indicating more regular and disciplined work. It is also an important feature to advertise the company through crests and prints on the workwear fabric. In Turkey, because there are at least twenty million employees, the share of the economy of the workwear market is big enough. For the continuity of the workwear sector, the relationship between supply and demand should not be disrupted regarding the raw material workwear fabrics. Workwear fabric price is determined mostly by wholesalers such as The Fabric Manufacturer, which is active in the market. These wholesalers also offer a variety of models of workwear fabrics and provide the necessary balance in the market.

Fabric is a weaved structure that has been used for a long time and has been obtained by weaving animal wool, plant fibers and artificially produced fibers today. In whatever condition the source from which natural fibers are obtained, the fabric made from those fibers will likewise have a protective effect from those conditions. When it is desired to achieve more than one effect, different fibers, especially artificial ones, are blended by combining them together, so that the properties found in the individual fiber types are obtained with a single fabric, in some cases these features decrease and strengthen in some cases. Cotton fiber used for soft texture but prone to wrinkle has a wrinkle-free feature and has a sufficiently soft texture on the fabric obtained when high-strength polyester fiber is added. With the help of such mixtures, dozens of features can be added to workwear fabric. Workwear fabric is generally designed to highlight one of its features. Even if they all have similar features, one feature is much better than the others. Required properties for workwear fabric; durability, comfort and reusability. Durability feature is divided into chemical and physical resistance. While chemically resistant fabrics that are resistant to organic solvents are used to make aprons for use in the laboratory, physically fireproof fabrics are used in the production of their clothes used by firefighting teams and iron and steel workers working in the furnaces. As comfort is important in sweating, these points use sweat-absorbing and aerating fabrics. It is expected that they can be reused throughout the fabric and do not lose their properties even if they are washed too many times. The properties of workwear fabrics vary according to the fibers used and the finishing processes. A wide variety of workwear fabric is obtained according to the blend of fibers and finishing processes.

WORKWEAR FABRIC TYPES

They are fabrics made of 100% cotton fiber, especially woven in gabardine type. It is used in harsh working conditions, protects the heavy types from cold, waterproof; lightweight types absorb sweat and air in warm environments and are easy to paint. It reveals the image of the company by company employees

Thanks to polyester, the amount of wrinkles is reduced and the resistance to tearing is increased. It is one of the most used personnel fabrics because it is durable. The heavier types are used for the most difficult conditions, while the lighter types are preferred for ease of maintenance. It can be used for a long time and it is suitable for industrial washing since it does not release its paint during washing. Polyester fibers also prevent the fabric from pulling in the wash. As the rate of cotton is increased, softness increases.

When polyester fiber is mixed into the viscose fiber obtained from beech wood, which has a slippery texture and is very good to be dyed with moisture feature, durability and wrinkle are obtained. Such blend fabrics are suitable for frequent washing and do not fade. They are used in work areas that require constant hygiene and look bright.

Phosphorous fabric is a workwear that is added to shine by using a phosphorescent substance in the production of one of the blend fibers or dyed with phosphorescent material after the fibers are produced. It is produced for use in applications requiring security. They are made from 100% polyester or 80% polyester 20% cotton. The resistance of losing dye in washing changes according to polyester and cotton ratios.

Fireproof fabric was invented due to industrial accidents, fires and firearm clashes that have been increasing rapidly since the 1970s. By adding p-aramid fibers to fireproof fabrics whose main substance is m-aramid fiber, mechanical durability can be increased dozens of times compared to its former form. With antistatic finishing, protection is provided against high voltage sources. Softness can be provided instead of mechanical durability by mixing with cotton on demand. The feature of M-aramid fiber is that when it encounters an excessively hot heat source, it becomes charred and provides thermal insulation. Thus, the combustion process ends before it starts and the temperature behind the garment does not increase too much. If desired, a similar effect can be achieved by making non-combustibility finish. P-aramid fiber has a much stronger structure than the same amount of steel, protecting the integrity of the workwear, preventing the fire from passing behind the fabric
